Inecom customers prepare for the advent of Malaysia GST on April 1st, 2015.

It has been well publicised that the Malaysian Government will be implementing a Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) at the rate of 6% on April the 1st 2015. This will replace the existing sales and service tax. All companies registered in Malaysia will be required to upgrade their business software to be compliant with the new GST regulations.

As a result, Inecom introduced its Malaysia GST Reporting package to meet the new fiscal requirements of its customers for their Malaysian based entities. The below features are key components of that GST reporting package provided by Inecom:

  • Includes Malaysian GST reports (summary and detail)
  • Bad Debts Recovered query
  • Bad Debts Relief query
  • GST Audit File via query
  • GST Return file via query

These features amply meet the Malaysian GST requirements. Many of Inecom’s customers have already successfully installed the package and have completed testing, ready for the upcoming launch date.

Please let us know if you require any additional information on the GST package.
