Despite generous incentives to encourage productivity investment, on 17th Feb 2015, Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry (MIT) announced that labour productivity declined by 0.8 per cent in 2014. One of the departments that still suffers from a lack of IT investment within SME’s is the warehouse, which is frequently unproductive. Companies are often using manual systems to carry out goods receipt, stock transfers, stock counting or delivery. A company’s warehouse is commonly a good starting point if you want to unlock productivity improvements within your organisation.
In Inecom’s recent Warehouse Management Solution (WMS) Seminar we presented the common supply chain issues companies are facing, discussed the various levels of WMS solutions available in the market and demonstrated Inecom’s integrated Warehouse Management Solution, which works seamlessly with SAP Business One. Finally we finished by answering questions from attendees on a range of topics and shared the costs of implementing SAP Business One and Inecom’s WMS solution
